It’s that time of year and Red Poppy Festival is near. The festival usually draws around 30,000 visitors for the weekend and Georgetown Art Works is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful and fun event. We will have two booths at the corner of Main and 8th Street. One will be an informative booth about the art center and its’ programs. The other will be a fun art center for children.
The Red Poppy Festival booths will be open Saturday, April 27th from 10am until 6pm and Sunday, April 28th from 11am until 5pm. We need volunteers for 2 or 4 hour shifts each day. There will be a board member on hand at all times to help answer questions or take money. This is a great opportunity to share what the art center will have to offer and have fun at the same time.
